Anne and I spent a big chunk of the day trying to squirrel-proof the peach tree. The fruit isn’t anywhere near ripe, but every day a few more disappear. In the hope the we might get to eat a few peaches ourselves, we’ve constructed elaborate arrangements of bird netting around individual branches. The peach tree now looks like it’s wearing fishnet stockings.
Will it work? Ha! We don’t know!
Ninja squirrels, waiting for you to turn away…
It’s true. Squirrels have magic ninja powers. And when they look at our heads, they see gigantic nuts filled with delectable brain-meats.
